I have written a couple of thoughts, events and memories that have taken place during all this time on my cell phone but that's as far as I have been able to do instead of typing it up and loading it to our blog. I feel like I just do not have enough time I am constantly busy, then I am reminded of how much busier it's going to be when you arrive. I know we can figure it out. I do want to share a letter with you my love.
My Dear Son,
I can not wait to meet you! I talk to you often and if you remember a couple of days ago I shared with you the joy I feel to have you growing inside of me again. I am so blessed because of that! I feel honored and very special that we have shared 32 weeks together so far. I must say they have been great! You have been such a good baby and I hope I have been a good home for you. I try to inform myself on things I should do for you, better choices when I have to eat and what's best for you.
I feel bigger that has been the only thing that makes me uncomfortable but I still would not change having you grow inside of me for anything in the world. You get the hiccups a lot I was concerned for a while because I wasn't really sure if they were the hiccups I went to BabyCenter website did some research and asked the Doctor during one of our appointments. It's the hiccups! :D I have read from some women that it is very annoying I can not agree with them why complain about that? All I wanted to know was if there was a way I could help you get over the hiccups because it could be uncomfortable for you but other then that when you have them it gives me a chance to feel you. I love you so much already!
You are part of your daddy and me and we hope and pray that we do great things for you. We will always love you! We want to be good parents to you, we want you to grow knowing that you are a child of God and that you are very special. We want you to grow up to me an honorable young man, we want you to love people and animals, to have a compassionate heart and be strong, healthy, generous and humble. We want you to know that you are loved by many people already, on a different post I have to tell you about the Baby Showers in honor of you. How many people came together to show us that we are supported and loved by so many family and friends. You are one lucky baby boy.
On another note I also keep reminding you not to hurt me too much when it's time for us to meet. :D Your mom is not very good with pain and for that reason I am a bit scared but all that goes away when I think of the moment when I will finally have you in my arms because you are already forever in my heart. I love you so much!

Thoughts
There are more entries I need to catch up on but for now I just want to write about how I have being doing and feeling while pregnant. It is exciting and just wonderful to know that I am blessed to be able to grow life inside of me. I read a lot about what I should or shouldn't do what to eat what to avoid. I try to eat healthy and I have been exercising I probably should exercise a bit more but for now I have been riding my bike at the Hamden/Cheshire bike trail. I have gone a total of 3 times the last two times we went I have made it to the mark 0.0 which is a total of like 15 miles to and from our starting point.
I get hungry often and eat small meals and fruits at different times. On my last check up with my doctor I weighed the same as when I found out I was pregnant which by that point I had already gained a few pounds and was one month pregnant Doctor said it was not bad but from now on to start gaining a bit of weight not a lot and a slow pace. Every Saturday I turn a new week currently I am on week 15 I read that now our baby is the size of an apple and the legs are growing longer then the arms now. I am so excited and can't wait to find out what we are having a pretty girl or a handsome boy. I am excited regardless of what we have I know many mom's hope for the same thing but I truly just want the baby to be healthy I could not ask for anything else. We will find out August 16th at about 10:30am that's if our baby want's us to know because maybe it's a bit modest and doesn't want to show just yet. I have had to get more blood work done because they are checking my thyroid levels. This Friday I also need to do the glucose test and will be drinking that orange liquid that I heard is not very pleasant.

Today 05/10/13 we found out....
May 10, 2013 Surprise
We are pregnant! :D How exciting!!!!! I couldn't believe it when I heard the news today. I had some blood work done on Monday due to my allergies and some weird things that had been happening to my body but mainly I went for allergies well Dr. L wanted to make sure he didn't give me any medicine that would harm you so to make sure we got that blood work done. I was told I would know by Tuesday or Wednesday... well Wednesday I called and they said that they would let me know on Thursday the 9th. I was still unsure about it but at this point I figured I am late and that's not like me. So finally I called after I dropped of your daddy at work and I was put on hold for a while and Alana called me I hung up with the Dr. Office and talked to her for a while sure enough she has lost another loved one, like she says these are the trials she has to go through for some reason my heart goes out to her. While we were talking Dr.'s Office left a vm so we are playing phone tag at this point. I called them back and I talk to Lisa she said my results are in. It's around 10:26am and she says my TSH is normal, Vitamin D is Normal, Glucose is Normal and then about... and she whispers this like it was a big secret - about your pregnancy test it's positive my reaction was a huge smile from ear to ear and I said Ohhhh wow! It's the greatest news I have ever heard and then she asks are you happy? Uhhmm YEAH! well I said of course I am HAPPY! Just so giggly and happy! I wanted to shout it to everyone and share the excitement but your our first and everyone was waiting for us to bring you to this world that I needed to inform our loved ones in a very special way. Mom's are going to be told with a sweet poem and a frame where they can replace the poem for your picture as soon as your here. Ohh today is also Robert's Birthday and in Spanish culture today is actually Mother's Day well what wonderful news to receive this day. I planned on taking your daddy to one of the places we went on our first date at the Lighthouse Beach in East Haven, he got stuck at work a little longer so it was late I wanted to record it perfectly and take pictures. I told him I was working on a project and if he could come with me because I needed a picture of the lighthouse and he was taking pics with his cell very trusting in what I had told him I went back to get the car and turn on the lights because it was very difficult to see while I tried to record his reaction! Earlier after my dentist appointment I went and bought him a book that we should read together as we experience this journey and I told him it was from you. He was so excited and he cried and said "I am going to be a daddy?" Really? Seeee I told you!!! that you were pregnant! " lol I had tricked him earlier and told him that I had cramps because I knew he had been figuring it out. Ohh I also met with my middle school friend for an early dinner we had planned for lunch but she got stuck in a meeting. We were talking and I had to tell her and then she told me that she is expecting too! :D and she is 15 weeks I think I am either 3 or 4 weeks. I thought back to the movie look who is talking and imagined you were talking through our tummy's as we ate at Charcoal Chicken in West Haven I know it's silly but it was a thought I had. I am so happy and can't wait to share the news with everyone else we want to tell them on Sunday because it will Mother's day! Okay well I am saving this post until I add the photos but I just needed to write about it all tonight! here are the photos finally.

Half way done with March
Time flies when you are having fun, or better yet also just because we have been so busy. I have a few updates that I need to include in here for starters I need to write about a little snow storm we had on Friday March 8th we figured it would be our last time to be able to build a snowman. The last time we had the Blizzard early February we didn't build one so this time for sure we created David the Snowman. It was perfect not too cold and the snow was exactly perfect where it could be easily molded.
Shawn and I like to host St. Patrick's day. I am not Irish but I look up some recipes and have fun with it. This year we planned somewhat late so we did not have corn-beef when I went to buy it they had sold out. I know what's the point of celebrating it then lol well we had ham instead and everyone loved it and the meal we even had green juice. Shawn was working but at least not too late so he was able to enjoy as well.
Shawn is almost done with this semester of school and actually getting even closer to being done with his masters program. He is very dedicated on his school work and continues to have a 4.0 I am so proud of him! Work and School keeps us very busy and in a constant routine I am looking forward to being able to go out more, on walks, on trips.

March 29, 2013 Samuel Adam's Brewery
I had made plans with Rita for us to go together to Massachusetts for an outing seeing as we all had the day off. I know one of Shawn's dream places he had been wanting to go to was Samuel Adam's Brewery well he finally got his wish to come true. We surprised him and had told him we were going to a mall that Pepito had heard about! When we were almost there Shawn kept trying to convince us that well while we were in the area we should stop at the brewery and we kinda just ignored him on that. Then as we had no idea were we were going because it was new to all of us, Shawn kept asking Pepito so were are we really going? Pepito told him to let him focus as he needed to pay attention to where we needed to go. Well we turn the corner towards the brewery and Shawn says "Wow this mall looks really old" when all of a sudden as we turn to the right he sees the Samuel Adam's Brewery sign and he is just shocked and happy at the same time.
We enjoyed the tour and they also had many displays of old bottles and the way they have changed through out the years. We were under the assumption that we would get to walk around the brewery, well that's not how it went we were shown by the tour guy where to stand and enjoy his mini presentation where he spoke about how beer is made and the different components it has and let us try some of the ingredients. After that we were sent to another room where we all sat around and they gave us a small glass to test the beer as our tour guide continued his presentation. He was a very funny guy and then after he explained the correct procedure in tasting a beer lol didn't know it had to be thought... well it was fun more so because I know Shawn had always wanted to go there and I felt very happy that I was able to help make that dream of his come true.

Our Valentine's Day
We celebrate our love for each other everyday but we still have fun celebrating Valentine's day. We had originally had agreed no presents as we are trying to pay off some debt. What I just love the most is when we give each other cards through out the year and V-Day is no exception. My day started of with a wonderful delivery called All Wrapped Up. I am glad you liked the custom made deck of cards from our vacation.
We also really enjoy going out to eat we went back to the Waterhouse in Branford their food is really out of this world yummy, we had been there for my birthday just last month! We had the sea scallops dish and just enjoyed of a wonderful evening together.
Back at home my beautiful roses on our kitchen table. Thank you honey for my roses I like them a lot. And I'm still trying to get used to that Mypillow you got me. :D I hope you enjoyed your new blue-ray collectibles I got you. I love you very much my valentine!

February
What a crazy month it is filled with many family birthdays one of our busier months. Of course we have our favorite hallmark holiday as some people tend to call it. We are deciding where to dine it's going to be a late dinner but it doesn't matter so long as we can spend it together and enjoy our self's that is all that really matters. We went to Texas Roadhouse tonight for dinner it wasn't planned we just went with it. It was so loud in there I still have a headache, well not to mention the conversation we ended up having didn't help but difference of opinions what else can be said about that. What better then to be loved by many then to just be loved by two, nobody ever died of being over loved and wanted. Yes, we talked about you tonight well at least I had hoped we would somehow the conversation went sour. I will try again... I really want you in my life! I finally finished an album I had been working on I really need to get better on time management on myself. I have been lacking this project should have been done by January at the very latest. I also completed it while fighting a cold. So I guess I shouldn't be to hard on myself. Happy Birthday to my wonderful Mami. I love you soooo much!

Wow January is almost over. So much for one of my New Year's Resolutions to write often on our new blog. I am Mercedes and I am married to my best friend, the love of my life, handsome husband Shawn. We have been married for almost four years. We have had our share of employment and life trials but with our faith to our Heavenly Father, love and dedication we are always doing great and moving ahead. We have a dog named Stuart no children of our own for now although we hope to soon.
